Cultural theme, could be the leverage cause of your event. When I mention “event” in this article means educational event, specially for adult learning process.

Usually, an adult learning activity fixated on their scientific theme. Since I have most experience in medical and health seminars and symposium I give you example on that field.
An annual event for optician mention their scientific theme such as; pass the infections go for molecular biology. One seminar for general physicians offers theme about antibiotics or nutrition or medico legal issues. And you can find much more example on-line or off-line.

I’m not here saying those scientific theme is bad. No! that is not my intention.

I simply want to emphasize that the audience need more that just scientific theme with fancy words or high-end phrases.
They need to feel interested to join the event and keep interested to stand by entire time.

One suggestion from yours truly, is adding a cultural theme to your event.

Just like human, we can dressed down or dressed up depends on the accessories.

The extra theme is the accessory for your event.
Dressing up a scientific seminar is not easy. It required cohesiveness between two themes and obvious thread to the audience to get it but not irritating.

Since it is Halloween week, I’m suggesting using costume. For example, a european 16th century costume like this

I know, maybe the fabric can bring difficulties. You can use more modest costume or find simpler theme.
For Indonesian reader, we could use our traditional costume that offer fresh look and vibrant colors as well as stimulating.
